The agreent is a significant win for HICAPS healthcare providers. According to the Reserve Bank, American Express card mbers spend on average a third more than other card-holders. To mark the partnership, American Express is giving health-care providers the opportunity to win one of 120 $5,000 small business grants. Entry is automatic once an American Express transaction is processed and each subsequent transaction increases the chance to win.
