CooperVision opens new corporate office in NY

Contact lens manufacturer, CooperVision Inc (a unit of The Cooper Companies Inc), opening of its new corporate offices in the vicinity of Rochester, New York, with a ribbon-cutting ceremony on 27 August.

With approximately 325 employees having relocated into the new building from the former location in Fairport, NY, the newly-constructed facility will allow additional room for the company's continued growth, enabling greater collaboration and more efficient workflows resulting from a flexible, open floor plan.

Employees at this location work in marketing, sales, finance, information technology, customer service and supply chain management.

The company also maintains two other Rochester-area facilities, its made-to-order contact lens manufacturing site in Scottsville, NY and its global logistics and distribution center in West Henrietta, NY.

In total, CooperVision employs more than 1,250 people in the region. The company currently occupies 76,000 square feet of the new building with the ability to add more if needed. The new space offers an on-premises fitness facility twice the size of the gym at the former office, as well as hiking trails on the property.
