Insight continues to give best value for advertising dollars
For 32 years Insight has served the nationwide ophthalmic professions and industry by being the most-widely-distributed publication in Australia, providing independent news coverage for all the professions and industry, which have relied on us for up-to-date news on professional, business and technological developments.

Biggest circulation and readership
With a CAB-audited circulation of an average 7,415 copies per issue during October 2007 to March 2008, Insight is the only publication that reaches the whole ophthalmic market. What’s more, the _whole market receives Insight monthly (11 times a year).

When advertising with Insight, you can rest assured that your message is getting to all of the professions, not just a fraction like other publications

Widest circulation
Insight has the biggest and widest circulation, being distributed to optometrists, ophthalmologists and optical dispensers, including Luxottica head office and branches (OPSM, Laubman & Pank and Budget Eyewear) and other major optometrical and dispensing groups such as Blink Optical, Paris Miki, The Optical Superstores, Merringtons, Just Spectacles and National Pharmacies Optical, members of buying groups such as ProVision, Eyecare Plus and Optovision.
Also, staff at private health funds’ eye-care centres, orthoptists, ophthalmic nurses, universities, TAFE colleges, professional associations, research organizations, health-department senior officials, optical manufacturers, distributors, wholesalers and laboratories.

Unique address list
Our address list is unique and has been developed over more than 32 years for Insight plus five years before that for Optical World (the predecessor of Insight). Over the years we have developed a variety of distribution systems to speed our publications to subscribers, including optical couriers, general couriers, major companies’ internal distribution systems and Australia Post.

Target market: decision-makers
The great majority of copies of each Insight issue are distributed singly and individually-addressed, with a small minority distributed in multi-copy parcels to practices and offices where there is more than one recipient. For example, a five-partner practice will receive more than one copy (if requested), which will be distributed internally.
That enables us to optimise the number of copies sent to each destination. It also means that copies are received where wanted by our target audience – the decision makers.
