Death of Max Lang

Maxwell McNeil Lang, a doyen of optometry education at Sydney Technical College and then the University of New South Wales, died peacefully at his home at Leura, NSW, on 4 November. He was famed for his knowledge of optics. His wish was for a private funeral. He is survived by his wife Valda and daughter Julia. Obituary next issue.
